    @tokyophone
    i know. Im just so used to the original. The singers back then was just perfect! Nothing beats the original.

    On the positive side, at least they can come together to raise money.

    i love the idea, the effort, and the intention, but some things should be left alone, this version is awful, over sung, and just should never of been redone

    @TutanaBoy4U it’s called file footage…… OMG…….

    @acsteynor I totally agree with the first part. It was more real the first time. But the first one was written during the famine in Ethiopia. It was meant as a humanitarian fund raising effort for the starving people. So it is the same premise, helping those who have disasters beyond their control. But it was so horribly done though……

    @tesscalators Are you kidding me? I remember when the original was on the top 40. It sounded nothing like this. First off, ALL the singers had talent, not just some of them. Second, WTF is with the rap at the end? Are you kidding me? The “update” just serves to further disgrace my childhood memories by taking the good things and making them shit. Apparently all the great ideas were used up in the 80′s, so now everything is recycled. Good idea for a good cause? Yes. Horrible execution? OMG YES…
