I went to Haiti and knew I did not need to go to Africa for I had found my homeland. I looked in the faces of the people there and saw not strangers but family. I saw the graves they had built aboveground and recognized the place I had buried my own GrandMere. Haiti I bleed for you as you bled for me.
Seeing this disaster unfold is a wake up call for me that I need to be thankful for all that GOD has blessed me with; You do not need to be Haitian to understand that this is about coming together and helping for the sake of humanity. My prayers go out to those affected by this. Blessings.

Looking at the pictures portrayed on this website, one can only imagine the desperate situation some of the people of Haiti find themselves almost a whole month after the earthquake that ravaged the capital. Having said that, a lot of money is being raised on behalf of Haiti these days with very little oversight as to who has the money and where it is being spent. That is we invite everyone to visit The Haiti Accountability Project at http://www.haitiaccountability.org to support the effort that some in our community are making to raise awareness about accountability and to make sure that the money raised for the recovery and rebuilding effort in Haiti is not mismanage or stolen this time around. Do your part, support the Haiti Accountability project and Help rebuild Haiti for good this time.
